Foreign Language School Policy
Welcome to Sprachlingua! Our mission is to provide high-quality language instruction in a supportive and engaging environment. To ensure a smooth and successful experience for all students, we have established the following policies.
These policies are designed to maintain a positive, fair, and professional learning atmosphere for everyone. By enrolling in a course at our school, you agree to comply with these guidelines.
1. Enrollment and Registration
- Registration Process: All students must complete the registration form and provide necessary personal details to enroll in a course. Students will receive a confirmation email once their registration has been processed.
- Course Selection: Students should choose a course that aligns with their current proficiency level. If unsure, students may consult with our staff for guidance or take a free placement test.
- Course Duration: Course lengths and schedules are subject to availability. Information on course start dates, duration, and class times will be provided upon registration.
2. Attendance and Punctuality
- Regular Attendance: Students are expected to attend classes regularly and be punctual. Consistent attendance is crucial for language learning progress.
- Absences: If a student cannot attend a class, they should inform the instructor or school administration as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that missed classes can be rescheduled.
- Late Arrivals: To avoid disrupting the class, students who arrive more than 15 minutes late may be asked to wait until a suitable break to enter the classroom.
3. Payment and Fees
- Tuition Fees: Tuition fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the course to confirm your seat. Payment details will be provided upon registration.
- Refund Policy: Please note that no refunds will be issued for any course fees, regardless of whether the student attends all classes or withdraws after the course has started.
- Additional Costs: Students are responsible for any additional costs, such as textbooks, materials, and specific online resources required for the course.
4. Code of Conduct
- Respectful Behavior: All students are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, classmates, and school staff. Discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Classroom Etiquette: Students should participate actively, maintain a positive attitude, and follow the instructor's directions. Mobile phones should be set to silent or switched off during class.
5. Learning Materials
- Textbooks and Resources: Required textbooks and learning materials will be made available for purchase or download. Students should bring the necessary materials to each class.
- Online Resources: For online courses, students will receive access to our learning platform with course materials, assignments, and communication tools.
6. Student Feedback and Evaluation
- Feedback: We value student feedback and encourage you to share your thoughts on the course and instructors. Feedback forms are available upon request and at the end of each course.
- Progress Reports: Regular assessments will be conducted to monitor progress. Students are encouraged to review their progress with their instructors and seek guidance when needed.
7. Health and Safety
- Health Concerns: If a student has a health condition or disability that may affect their participation, they are encouraged to inform the school administration so that appropriate accommodations can be considered.
- Safety: The school adheres to all local safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment. Students must follow all safety protocols while on school premises.
8. Privacy and Confidentiality
- Personal Data Protection: We respect your privacy. Personal data is stored securely and used solely for administrative purposes. We do not share your personal information with third parties without your consent.
- Confidentiality: All student information, including progress reports and assessments, is kept confidential.
9. Termination of Enrollment
- Failure to Comply: The school reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrollment for failure to comply with school policies or for engaging in behavior that disrupts the learning environment.
- Withdrawal: If a student chooses to withdraw from a course, they should notify the school administration in writing. Please refer to our refund policy regarding fees.
